Why Reusable NappiesWhy Use Modern Reusable Nappies?
There are so many types of cloth nappy out there and it can be very confusing working out which ones to try out and which ones will work for you and your little one.
The main types are:
All-in-one nappies - all absorbency and waterproofing is sewn together as one making them as easy to use as disposables - the only difference is when you take it off you pop it in a nappy bucket/bag and when the bucket/bag's full you wash them. All-in-one nappies include TotsBots Easyfit, Bambino Mio Miosolo, BumGenius Elemental and Freetime and Real Easy.
Pocket nappies - the waterproof cover has a pocket attached for you to add whichever boosters/inserts you need to to obtain the desired absorbency. Pocket nappies include Wonderoos and Charlie Banana.
Two part nappies - the waterproof cover or wrap (1 part) is separate from the absorbent part (1 part). The absorbent part can be a fitted nappy such as TotsBots Bamboozle Stretch, or can be inserts such as the Flip inserts. Very flexible in terms of absorbency and covers/wraps can be used more than once before washing if they're not dirty.
Whichever types of nappy you choose to use you can be assured that there's no waste to go to landfill and no expense with buying more disposable nappies. There are also no chemicals next to your baby's skin as they are made from lovely soft materials.
